Schneeberger, Christoph, Dr.

Christoph Schneeberger obtained his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zürich. His dissertation focused on the development and application of hybrid bicomponent fibres as novel intermediate materials for continuous fibre-reinforced thermoplastic composites. During his studies, he specialized in modeling and processing of composite materials, writing his Master’s thesis entitled “Modeling of Unsaturated Flow in Hybrid OoA Prepreg/LCM Processes” at our institute. Additionally, he was a member of the Formula Student Electric Team at ETH Zürich, focusing on the design and manufacturing of a hybrid composite and aluminum rim. Christoph’s work as an ETH Pioneer Fellow is focused on bringing hybrid fibre technology closer to industrialization via the project "Antefil Composite Tech".
