Doctoral Student
I am a mechanical-aeronautical engineer graduated from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, ITA), Brazil, in 2009. During the last semester of my Bachelor studies I did an internship at ETH Zurich in the group Complex Materials, where I worked with bio-inspired platelet-reinforced polymer films. After the completion of my Master studies in ITA in 2011 I joined Inspire ICS, where I am currently working with material development for strong and tough fiber-reinforced polymer materials. My interests are related to micromechanics and fracture mechanics of composite materials.
